What is says about honey in the holy quran

Drinking honey and warm water on empty stomach is mentioned to be powerful in maintaining overall health. This is what Prophet Muhammad used to do every day. This way honey can be considered as both food and medicine, as it cleanses the arteries and bowels from impurities.
It is also related that he said: “He who desires protection, let him eat honey”.

[Quran 16.68-69] And your Lord (Allah) revealed to the bees: Build your hives in mountains, trees and in what they build. Then eat from every fruit and follow your Lord’s enslaved paths, from its bellies exits drink of different colors, in it healing for man. These are signs for those who contemplate.

Honey – All the good uses and health benefits you need to know about !

Raw honey, which comes straight from the beehive, contains bee pollen, bee propolis, and plenty of antioxidants. Processed honey may contain less of this and so a lot of people will opt for raw honey for more powerful health benefits, I personally like raw and processed honey and feel benefits of both. Read below to find out some fantastic ways of using honey in your daily life. Honey has been used as medicine for as long as 8,000 years.

A bit of energy in the morning : Spread some honey on hot toast in the morning or use honey instead of sugar in your tea.

Sore throat or flu : Research has shown that honey can ease a flu and sore throat, you can take a spoonful of honey in the morning and then one again in the evening, or you can add honey to your hot tea!

Honey can kill bad bacteria : Studies have proven that honey can help your body fight infections, it can help kill off bad bacteria in your body. Honey is the world sweetest antibiotic, major ongoing studies have found that compounds in honey have been affective against bacteria that is already antibiotic resistant.

Boosting brain function and memory : an Argentinian study on the chemical composition of honey found that honey helped in building and developing the central nervous system of children and could reduce anxiety, improve memory and learning, and enhance their intellectual performance later in life.

“Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.” Isaiah 7:15

Waitrose kick-start refill culture in the UK ✅💖🌎📍

Waitrose are years ahead when it comes to reducing waste and saving our planet from plastic pollution, I am so impressed by waitroses refilling station’s! Total respect to waitrose for making this major change and hopefully it gets rolled out in all thier stores nationwide. For just now they are doing a test run in selected stores.

waitrose_131781009702003.jpg

The supermarket originally launched its Unpacked test in its Oxford Botley Road shop in June, and, following an overwhelmingly positive response with more than 90 per cent of those surveyed saying they would continue to shop Unpacked, announced it would be extending the test there and in three more shops by the end of this year including Cheltenham.

Waitrose is seeking to get as much feedback as possible on its Unpacked test. Customers can share their thoughts via a feedback survey on Waitrose.com/Unpacked, and by using #WaitroseUnpacked Twitter and Instagram.

waitrose_1317818834807441.jpg

Coffee refills – Customers can grind one of four coffees in store to take home in a reusable container to reduce glass and plastic packaging.

Mike Snowdon, Branch Manager at Waitrose & Partners Cheltenham, said:

“We’re thrilled to be only the second of our shops to have Waitrose Unpacked and will be looking for as much feedback as possible from our customers. We’re still testing the different concepts so Cheltenham shoppers will have a huge say on how we can develop ideas which have the potential to be rolled out more widely.”

Essential refillables – 28 products including pasta, rice, grains, couscous, lentils, cereals, dried fruit and seeds have been taken out of packaging and is available through dispensers.

Frozen pick and mix – Frozen mango, strawberries, blueberries, cherries, pineapple and raspberries are packaging free.

Detergent and washing up liquid refillables – Waitrose & Partners is the first supermarket to partner with Ecover to provide refills of detergent and washing up liquid.

Wine and beer refillables – Four different wines and four different beers are available on tap to take home in reusable bottles.

These are the refillables you will be able to experience in selected stores and hopefully inside of all waitrose stores soon. Who wouldn’t want  an easy fruit pick and mix fridge that you can just take as many or as little as you would like of each variety?

Discover OLIO the food sharing app that is making the world a better place 🌎✅💖🌌

Recently I have been looking for ways to reduce my waste and also give away unwanted items, I’m already a member of a few frecycle clubs and online free cycle websites. I’d never thought about one dedicated to food waste. When I came across OLIO on Google play store I just knew this was one of the best apps to be created in the last few years. It’s so easy to use and you never have to throw away unused goods again !

Tr-EYpzk

OLIO is a free app (mobile & web) that connects neighbours with each other and volunteers with local businesses, so surplus food can be shared, not thrown away. If you love food, hate waste, care about the environment or want to connect with your community, OLIO is for you.

Ultimately, the mission is to unlock the value of food that is wasted in the home and local community. The way the app works is simple. Users snap a photo of their spare and add it to the app. Neighbours who live nearby receive customised alerts and can request anything that takes their fancy. All items are offered for free.

XiUy9DcQ

Food shared could be food nearing its sell-by date from local stores, spare home-grown vegetables, bread from the local baker, or the groceries in your fridge when you goaway, move home or go on a diet. You can also share non-food items such as furniture, clothes, toys, household and beauty products.

Food waste is a major issue, and not just for the supermarkets. Globally, a third of all food produced is wasted, and in the UK, households account for half of all waste-binning over £15bn of edible food, costing families £800 per year (ref). Food waste is also costly for local stores and councils and ranks as one of the world’s largest emitters of greenhouse gases.

OLIO has been used in over 50 countries and over 1.8million items have been successfully shared between neighbours. That’s the equivalent of preventing 1,564 CO2emissions from entering the atmosphere and eliminating 4,692,637car miles from the road.

OLIO also has a flourishing volunteer network-over 36,000 people have reached out to the organisation requesting to become volunteers, to promote food sharing locally and rescue and redistribute food in their communities via OLIO!

Better You Magnesium flakes – Review 🌊🛁🛀

If your into detox baths then you have to try magnesium flakes! You simply add them to your bath as you would with Dead Sea salts, Clay or Epsom. Then just relax and enjoy.

20190808_185314.jpg

I’m a massive fan of detox baths and usually combine it with my beauty routine, I will put on a face mask and hair conditioning mask while I’m in my bath. Lately I was in a herbalists shop to get some more epsom & vitamins and a nice assistant recommended magnesium flakes. Never have I ever used them before, she explained it was a muscle relaxant and it can be very powerful.

When I had my bath with the magnesium flakes my muscles were so relaxed, a bit to relaxed! It was a nice feeling and now I love having a magnesium bath now and then. I also felt so relaxed and sleepy when I come out the bath which is great! Magnesium has other benefits too like anti aging and helping with skin conditions.

Discovering the burbur detox 😯💖✅

A while ago I heard about the burbur detox while I was in a herbalists shop, I couldn’t believe that one plant could do so much good for the human body. I listened to the lady speaking about the burbur product and knew I needed to look it  all up online once I got home. Sure enough it turned out that it was a pretty popular  go to detox product for people with Lyme disease, kidney issues and other disorders. Apparently it also removed heavy metals from the body!

Burbur Detox is made from an extract produced from the leaves of Desmodium molliculum, a genus of the flowering plant family Fabaceae, a perennial that has been found and harvested in areas of Peru as high as 3,500 meters above sea level. Burbur leaf extract has been traditionally used for its body cleansing properties including the detoxification of the liver, kidneys, lymphatic system and the ground matrix.

manayupa

The herb has many uses in native medicine. It can be used for the treatment of gastritis, kidney stones, malaria, allergies, asthma, inflammation, parasites, tumors, viruses and as a blood purifier and sedative.

https://healthfully.com/311699-what-is-the-herb-burbur-used-for-in-detox.html

Also I found out that it can kill tumour cells and a whole host of other amazing stuff ! So I’m completely sold it doesn’t hurt to try right ? A small bottle was around £15 pound to buy but it seemed worth it. I haven’t started my burbur detox yet but I hope to blog about the results in a future post, if anyone else has done this detox please let me know what your results were ?

All you do is put 10 to 20 drops in water and drink it and repeat it a few times a day and continue for a few months, dose is depending on how much toxicity you have. A lot of reviews online are really positive and I can’t wait to get started 😉

Mother’s day pampering at Blow LTD 💋💘🌸🌱www.blowltd.com

051218_blowltd_636.jpg

With Mother’s Day fast approaching, we might all be looking for ways to show our mums how much they mean to us. Whether that’s by taking them for Sunday brunch, buying them some lovely flowers and a card, or splashing out on a gift. There are loads of options for spoiling your mum and show her how grateful you are for those years of lost sleep and unconditional love. While smashed avo on toast and bouquets are a lovely sentiment, why not change it up this Mother’s Day by treating your mum to a little pampering instead.

051218_blowltd_236.jpg

The power of pampering
Many of us lead busy lives with lots of different commitments and responsibilities, which can often include looking after other people. But you shouldn’t always feel that you have to sacrifice your own needs in order to care for others. Taking time out for yourself helps you remember that your needs are as important as those of others. In fact, caregivers who look after themselves will feel happier and be less stressed, meaning that they can give better care to their loved ones. Whether it’s a weekly bath with a glass of wine, or regularly treating yourself to one of your favourite beauty treatments, there are plenty of ways to fit some pampering into your life.

HM_HOME_470 (1).jpg

We all know the rejuvenating powers of a little bit of TLC. While regular self-care makes us feel great, fitting in time for a spot of pampering is actually a fantastic way to help manage everyday stress. When left unchecked, even low-level stress and tension can negatively affect your health. Stress can make you more prone to certain diseases and weaken your immune system. By actively reducing your stress levels, you can prevent everyday annoyances wreaking havoc to your body in the long term.

HM_HOME_540 (1).jpg

More than any of us, mums are often in need of some unwinding and pampering. After all, parenthood is one the hardest, most underpaid jobs in the world that comes with no training or instruction manual. The fact you are here today wouldn’t be possible without your mother (thanks mum!). Mother’s Day is the perfect opportunity to spoil your mama in return for all that she has done for you, and maybe steal the spot as the favourite child at the same time. If you are looking for a thoughtful way to treat your mum, then booking her a professional beauty treatment may be the answer. Let everyone else buy their mothers flowers and wine, while you do something a little bit different to show your mum how much you love her.

And relax …

Nothing beats a soothing massage or facial to help your muscles relax (including the ones in your face). Whether it’s helping to unwind those tight muscles from carrying growing children here, there and everywhere, or helping to relieve persistent niggles like back tension. A massage can be a great way to let your mum unwind as she can sit back, relax, and enjoy being pampered. A professional facial is a fantastic option too, as this can help your mum’s skin feel energised and hydrated.
Get dolled up

If you think a massage or a facial is not your mum’s thing, services like makeovers or hair styling are viable alternatives. Or a sleek new manicure for some Instagram-worthy nails would also go down really well. You could even book yourself a treatment at the same time as your mum. That way, you could both feel extra glamorous after a professional makeover, blow dry or nail treatment before heading out for a celebratory Mother’s Day drink (or two). Giving never felt so good!

Helping busy working mums is at the heart of what blow LTD, the beauty on-demand app, do. Their mobile beauty treatments let women fit in their beauty maintenance, regardless of how busy their schedules get, and their expert beauty pros can come to your home, ready to treat you and your mum to some much-needed TLC at a time that suits you. With combo treatments and group bookings available, you are bound to find a service that your mum (and you) will love.

If you think your mum deserves some beauty pampering this Mother’s Day, head over to blow LTD to find out more about our professional and affordable mobile beauty treatments.
